Back in 1983, Raymond started the business with one old cat and one old dump truck. He now has a crew of 20, hard working, very professional men and a fleet of the best equipment for any job, big or small.

Ray has built the business to it’s current success by having two priorities, first always be at the job when you are scheduled and complete the job on time and, second, make sure the job is done right the first time.

Today, Schrupp Excavating, LLC provides many services such as residential and commercial new construction site prep, demolition, road and driveway construction, basements, septic system design and installation, stump/brush removal, and delivery of sand, fill, class 5 gravel, rock, black dirt and more.

We take great pride in our knowledge, skill and professionalism. And, of course, we are a licensed excavating contractor so whether you are starting a project for your home or business, our team has the experience and knowledge you need.

  Ray is such a knowledgeable and responsive business Individual. We had several loads of class 5 delivered, and then had a holding tank installed. So happy with the class five gravel,  and I can’t express how much,  his crew worked so diligently
and are such experts in their fields. I couldn’t of been more happy with the results. If I have anything else that I need to do, I won’t even waste time, Ray and his crew, are my go too guys.

  I'm new to the area and needed some excavating done. I got 3 bids and Schrupp responded right away and his bid was the most reasonable. After they did the job ( much quicker than the other bidders said they could do it in) I was most impressed with the professionalism, of Rays crew and the follow up after the job from Ray. Rays input with future projects has proven to be helpful and now I don't look for other bids because I know I'm going to quality work for a very reasonable price!
